
My dearest #MentalMonday♥️🧠reader, it’s been a minute. And as I let my fingers dance on the keyboard, for the very first blog this year, am unsure whether to start by wishing you a splendid 2025, or rather just switch to asking how the nearly over first half of the year has been. Am also tempted to say hope you had a fabulous Eid al-Fitr celebration, but then again, am a little late, aren’t I? hence, I will just ask the question that knows no season, how have you been? Physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually? Life tends to be a roller coaster of events, how have you maneuvered around? Are you still holding tight and finding yourself secure in the seat?
And with all this said and the pressures of a new year, the need to accomplish something by a certain age, that has possibly arrived, or will soon arrive may have us drowning or falling in an abyss of misery. But alas, this sabbatical that I took from blogging taught me a thing or two that I will share with you, dear reader, today; the importance of sleeping during a storm!!
Now in the heart of a raging tempest, where winds howl like ancient spirits and rain dances upon the earth, there lies an invitation—a gentle whisper urging us to surrender, to embrace the sanctuary of rest.
